I agree plus Haysi plays that week as well (IF Clintwood is Div1) then 3 of the top playoff contenders will be playing anyway LOL and who ever wins the Cumberland will automaticly be in anyway

I hate that it was posponed since Clintwood was playing well right now and I dislike anything that might get us out of sinke

Why quit a week too soon? It would be the first of basketball season, not play-off time. You are talking about 6 days at most, and most folks at JJK, Appy, JIB, Clintwood or PV would rather see football than basketball. And you don't even want to start on championships in basketball, do you?

Well hopefully it doesn't come down to the last week of the season with too many questions.

In one manner, if it did, it would good for Clintwood (if they were in the playoffs) because it would have them sharper heading to a playoff game. At the same time, they would/could be more beat up heading into one.

Same boat for Appy.

Its not a great thing, but it happens. Can't help it, can't avoid it and really can't do anything about it now.

Honestly I'm surpised that they haven't shut the Dawg House down, more or less. If they had to properly disinfect the building and this just came to light today (otherwise why would you not have cancelled it earlier), I would think a good disinfecting would be in order and you would be wanting to keep everybody out of there a day or so. I mean as best I recall from a discussion I had with someone earlier, you don't just go in there and wash the building down wearing your blue jeans, you have to protect the ones doing the cleaning as well.

If it's staph I don't see how in the world they could possibly play next week neither. That stuff can get very bad. That's nothing to play with at all.

Well, perhaps with the time frame an Eagle's nest is in order next week for me. Move that game to RC. That would give the Dawgs another week to clean up. Then perhaps we could host you guys.

This type of staph is spread by contact, using infected equipment in a weight room, wearing improperly cleaned/disinfected uniforms and even (not applicible here) playing turf. I know of a Kpt. student that had to have surgery to correct the spread of this bad boy!! This strain of staph was on the local news in the summer as well as a network article. It is very contagious and spreads like wildfire when in an enviroment of heat, sweat and unsanitary housekeeping. There is a product to wash uniforms in and spray on turf that kills this germ. I pray that these players do not have this, because other players are sure to be exposed if proper santizing isn't preformed! This is just my two cents! Godspeed to these boys' recovery.
